Our Mission

In order to help you find the right contact number or customer service number for the company and organisations you wish to speak to, Trusted Numbers has compiled some related information that can be found elsewhere on the Internet. Trusted Numbers aims to be the ONLY place you need to come to find out how to contact a business in the UK.

At Trusted Numbers, the contact numbers we hold are regularly tested to ensure that they connect you to the correct company or organisation. However with over 100,000 contact numbers to check; and businesses changing their phone numbers on a regular basis, there may be occasions where you may come across a number that doesn't work.

Please help us to keep our free directory service up-to-date by letting us know if any of numbers didn't work for you and we will make the appropriate changes.

We are a free to use business contact number and phone number directory service. Our aim is to provide an accurate and efficient service in helping you to find the contact number or customer service phone number for any company in the UK. Please note that we are not associated with any of the companies displayed on our website.

Contact Numbers & Call Costs

Companies in the UK can have landline phone numbers (01 Numbers and 02 Numbers), Non Geographic Numbers (03 Numbers, 05 Numbers, 08 Numbers and 09 Numbers) or even mobile contact numbers (07 Numbers).

It is common for larger businesses to use either 0843 or 0844 numbers as this gives themselves a national presence and helps to provide a consistent level of customer service. No matter where you are in the UK, the cost of calling is the same for everyone.

As such, it is worth noting that the cost of calling telephone numbers listed on this website can vary based on the type of prefix of each company's number. We have provided a full breakdown to help you determine the cost of the call prior to making contact, but here is our quick reference guide for using the contact numbers displayed on trustednumbers.co.uk:

  • 0800 Numbers and 0808 Numbers are freephone numbers meaning that they are free to call from UK landlines and Mobiles (as of 1st July 2015)
  • 01 phone numbers and 02 phone numbers are charged at normal rates and are usually included in any home or mobile call inclusive packages.
  • 03 phone numbers are treated like 01 and 02 phone numbers. They are also usually included in any home or mobile call inclusive packages
  • 084x Numbers cost a maximum of 7ppm plus your phone company's access charge. Access charges vary across suppliers so it's worth checking what your supplier charges prior to using these phone numbers. 0845 Numbers are sometime included in call inclusive packages.
  • 087x phone numbers cost a maximum of 13ppm plus your phone company's access charge. As above, check with your phone company to determine the total cost of the call. 0870 Numbers are sometime included in call inclusive packages.
  • 09 Numbers. These are premium rate phone numbers and can cost up to £3.60 per minute to call plus a one off charge of up to £6! Avoid using these type of contact numbers unless it absolutely necessary.

This website is specifically designed for people who are looking for contact numbers, customer service numbers and technical helplines in the UK. If you are calling from outside of the UK, please be aware that the cost you incur can be siginificantly higher than advertised.

You should always have the bill payers permission before calling any phone number advertised on this website.
